Hairdressers shoot and score for charity!

The Fellowship's 3rd annual Football Tournament took place recently. This football extravaganza was the brainchild of Jamie Stevens of Errol Douglas and is not only a great opportunity for salons/companies to battle it out to see who is really cutting it on the football pitch, but also raises money for both the F.A.M.E Team and HABB, with all proceeds raised split between the two.

This year 11 teams with a total of 88 players took part and all the teams were eager to get their hands on the winner's trophy. The event took place at Goals in Wembley and attracted over 40 spectators keen to make the most of the day with lavish picnics and a good show of support for their friends and family on the pitch!

The teams were split into 2 groups, with each team playing the other group teams once. The top 2 teams from each group went into a nail biting semi final; Ceders vs. Goldsworthys and tigi vs. Caroline Collis, with Goldsworthys and Caroline Collis winning and going into the all important final.

The all Swindon final was a great match with some fantastic football and sportsmanship being displayed. It was the Fellowship's President team Goldsworthys who were victorious with a 2-1 win.

Event organizer Jamie Stevens said "There was some fantastic football being played with some exceptional talent on show, I know this as I used to be a pro footballer myself. You could definitely see the salons that came to have a fun at a charity day and the teams who wanted to win the football tournament at any cost! However it was a great day and enjoyed by everyone".
