COOK BOOK
Cheat's Chicken, Fish Pie, Crab with Ginger and Greek Soup are just a few of the scrumptious recipes our talented hairdressers are going to be cooking for HABB's cook book, sponsored by Goldwell and KMS. Andrew Barton, Richard Ward, Jo Hansford and Errol Douglas, plus many more hairdressing names, are donning their chef's whites for some Hell's Kitchen-style cooking. The book will be launched at Salon International and all proceeds from the £3 cover price will be donated to HABB.

A FANTASTIC FOUR HEAD HABB CONFERENCE
It's not often you get an opportunity to listen to four hairdressing heroes speaking about their passion for this industry.

On 23 September, Alan Austin-Smith will present four industry icons at The Millennium Gloucester Hotel, London.

The event will feature New York's Vivienne Mackinder, who will speak about her philosophy on business success, and development director Ian Cuthbert will talk about how to achieve a passionate balance between business and hair; Fiona Connolly, former general manager and artistic director of the seanhanna group will share her ideas on inspiring your team to be passionate hairdresser, and ex-HABB president, Gaynor Hodge, will discuss her passion for the Hair & Beauty Benevolent. All profits from The Fantastic Ambassador Conference will go directly to HABB.

WHY YOUR HELP MATTERS
Each month the HABB committee meets to discuss a rising number of requests from hairdressers and beauty therapists all requiring assistance. We hear from retired professionals, as well as those just starting out in their career, others have become ill and can no longer work, while a lot of young children whose parents have worked in the industry now need assistance each month. Every penny you raise enables us to help more and more people each month, so please remember HABB when you're considering your next charity event.

MY SIGNATURE STYLE HAIR SHOW
If you haven't already purchased your ticket for the 30 September event yet, there are still a few left. Sponsored by Salon Services, the crème de la crème of Scottish hairdressing will present a spectacular hair show, alongside a special guest appearance of long hair maestro Patrick Cameron. HABB BALL
The next HABB Ball will take place on Monday 11 February at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London. The event will include a meal with drinks, a fashion show, fundraising and sponsorship recognitions followed by a party. Tickets are £150 each or £1,450 for a table of 10. FOILA AT SALON INTERNATIONAL
