HAIR OASIS GIVES BACK TO THE INDUSTRY

Top Essex hairdressing salon Hair Oasis in Pitsea were in a generous spirit last week, as Managing Director Azmy Farag and his team presented the Hair & Beauty Benevolent with a cheque for One Thousand Four Hundred Pounds (£1400).

The funds were donated from ten percent of Hair Oasis' profits during the past three months. This was part of what Hair Oasis hopes to be a quarterly pledge to charity, which is seen as an essential service within the Hairdressing Industry.

The Hair & Beauty Benevolent (HABB) is the official industry charity, dedicated to helping hair and beauty professionals facing difficulties in life. Since 1853, HABB has offered financial support and funding to individuals and their families facing illness, bereavement or financial hardship.

Azmy Farag said "We just felt like we wanted to give something back to an industry that has been so encouraging and good towards us over the years. The HABB offers such an important support service for people in need of help - emotionally & financially. We hope this is something we can keep doing for as long as possible."
