Have a HABB Day on Friday 2nd May 2008

On Friday 2nd May it's the second 'Have a HABB Day, Donate a £1 and feel FAB!' fundraising day.

With the success of the first ever HABB Day in 2007, HABB is calling on every hairdresser, beauty therapist and nail technician once again to simply donate £1 to HABB to help towards reaching its annual fundraising target.

It's so simple to help, just nominate one person from your company to collect a £1 donation from every team member and then either send a cheque, call HABB with your credit card, or go online to www.justgiving.com and click Hair and Beauty Benevolent page. That's it!

So, whether you collect £5 or £50 every pound will help HABB's 500 beneficiaries and 100 children on the Children's fund.

2007 saw lots of great fundraising ideas on the day – some salons simply waved the collection box to staff and customers alike, others organised a Dress Down day and the team paid to join in, and some hair and beauty companies asked salons if they wanted to donate a £1 to the product orders taken that day. Whatever you're intentions, every penny counts so we hope you'll support HABB on this special day.

HABB is our industries charity and for over 150 years it has supported those industry individuals that have faced difficulties in life such as illness, bereavement or financial hardship.
