Freelance Fundraising Fortnight 2006 Winner Announced

The annual Freelance Fundraising Fortnight organized by the Freelance Hair & Beauty Federation in aid of HABB was awarded to Luton member, Elizabeth Clark.

The Challenge Cup, sponsored by Denman, sets a challenge to be the most innovative fundraiser set over a two week period. However, Elizabeth worked beyond the Fundraising Fortnight and held regular raffles at the Luton group meetings throughout the year. She took it upon herself to provide prizes and sell tickets at every opportunity. Well supported by her group she raised regular amounts of money which she donated to HABB and was a truly worthy winner.

In 2007, FHBF would like to throw open the challenge to the Freelance/Mobile hairdressers and beauty therapists. Take the challenge and raise funds for HABB while having fun. What will you be doing to win the FHBF Challenge Cup? Past winners have organised a sponsored swim, a raffle with a twist, and even a Swing through the Trees!

Freelance Fundraising Fortnight 2007, 22nd October - 2nd November 07, why not join in the fun?
The FHBF has set its members a challenge to raise money for our industry's charity HABB during the two weeks from 22nd October - 2nd November 2006.

It is not how much money you raise but how innovative you can be in raising your money. You can do things individually or in a group and you will be rewarded for your efforts by enjoying a complimentary FHBF Inspirations weekend.

If you have raised or are raising money for HABB, the FHBF need to hear from you so that you can be considered for the fabulous prize: A FREE weekend in June to enjoy Inspirations and be presented with the FHBF Challenge Cup and join the list of worthy winners.

Inspirations is the FHBF exciting annual event that attracts the biggest icons in the industry to present, educate and entertain the members at the Renascence Hotel nr Birmingham. 2007 Inspirations saw Beverly C as the special guest and 2008 will include presentations from Patrick Cameron and Simon Shaw amongst our guests.
