A selection of recipes from the UK’s leading hairdressers Following on from the success of the Naked Hairdressers Calendars, comes the new Cutting Edge Cook Book in aid of the Hair & Beauty Benevolent (HABB).

HABB is a charity that is supported by the industry's leading hairdressers and even the prospect of donning chef's whites and creating their own recipe for the book wasn’t enough to put them off from supporting a good cause!

Recipe examples range from the Queen of Colour, Jo Hansford's delicious 'Hansford Fishy Pie', Richard Ward's 'Richard's Supreme Chicken', Andrew Barton's 'Barton's Borsch', Errol Douglas 'Errol's Mussels', Phil Smiths 'Phil's Cheeky Breast' and other mouth watering dishes.

HABB is the official industry charity, dedicated to helping hair and beauty professionals facing difficulties in life. Since 1853, HABB has offered financial support and funding to individuals and their families facing illness, bereavement or financial hardship. Whether it's to help women who have faced violent partners and need new accommodation, elderly beneficiaries who require financial support to live day-to-day or helping families with holidays for terminally ill or disabled children, HABB is always on hand to support.

Through HABB's Children's Fund over 100 children each year receive help. Specialist indoor and outdoor equipment is provided, as well as essentials such as school uniform and bedding. Monthly pocket money and clothing, plus gifts throughout the year on birthdays and religious festivals like Christmas, are also provided.
